What Hurts The Most. . . Do you know that feeling when you know that soon someone is gonna leave you? You become all bitter instead of cherishing your limited time together, Why? maybe it's just a way for you to tell that person to not go, to not leave, to just stay here with you. And you think by acting that way he/she is gonna change her/his mind. But that person still leaves, which makes you feel alone, betrayed and not important to that person anymore. But maybe we were just so selfish, maybe we were just too insensitive. Haven't we though about their feelings too? That's the reason why they did say"goodbye"before they left, they tried their best to make you understand but maybe we were just too stupid to listen. They didn't have a choice, because if they did they would choose to STAY. Leaving is as hard as to be left too.

It starts out with learning how to walk and talk. Then we move onto bigger things. We learn how to add and subtract. We learn how to read and write. Pretty soon that adding and subtracting turns into multiplying and dividing. Next thing you know after that we are sitting in calculus class trying to figure out very complex equations. My point is the human brain is always growing and learning. As we grow up, our interests change. We grow as humans because we are learning and we learn in many different ways. Don’t Sacrifice Your Present on an Altar of Your Past. You dishonor your future when you build an altar for your past. An altar is a place of sacrifice and worship. In the Old Testament, people would bring offerings to sacrifice upon the altar for various reasons. In modern times, many churches have an altar at the front of the church, not for sacrifices, but for prayer. Altars can be a great thing for a Christian, except when it’s a mental altar dedicated to something in your past. I have built mental altars to the hurts, tragedies, and losses that I have suffered. I keep them going by constantly revisiting these hurts, tragedies, and losses. The sole purpose of an altar in the ancient world was to be a place of sacrifice. If the purpose of an altar is to sacrifice, what exactly am I sacrificing? Whenever I visit these mental altars I end up sacrificing a piece of myself. Once a father and son went to the kite flying festival. The young son became very happy seeing the sky filled with colorful kites. He too asked his father to get him a kite and a thread with a roller so he can fly a kite too. So, the father went to the shop at the park where the festival was being held. He purchased kites and a roll of thread for his son. His son started to fly a kite. Soon, his kite reached high up in the sky. After a while, the son said, “Father, It seems that the thread is holding up a kite from flying higher, If we break it, It will be free and will go flying even higher. Can we break it?” So, the father cut the thread from a roller. The kite started to go a little higher. That made a son very happy. But then, slowly, the kite started to come down. A woman was in bed with her lover when she heard her husband opening the front door "Hurry!" she said, "stand in the corner." She quickly rubbed baby oil all over him and then she dusted him with talcum powder. "Don't move until I tell you to," she whispered. "Just pretend you're a statue." "What's this, honey?" the husband inquired as he entered the room. "Oh, it's just a statue," she replied nonchalantly. "The Smiths bought one for their bedroom. Building Your House An elderly carpenter was ready to retire. He told his employer-contractor of his plans to leave the house-building business to live a more leisurely life with his wife and enjoy his extended family. He would miss the paycheck each week, but he wanted to retire. They could get by. The contractor was sorry to see his good worker go & asked if he could build just one more house as a personal favor. The carpenter said yes, but over time it was easy to see that his heart was not in his work. He resorted to shoddy workmanship and used inferior materials. It was an unfortunate way to end a dedicated career. When the carpenter finished his work, his employer came to inspect the house.
